This special, collectible locket is a true treasure for any princess. The locket is a rose gold plated necklace that hangs gracefully around your neck, displaying a double-sided embossed storybook pendant; one side shows the front of the "book" with the Sleeping Beauty original 1959 logo, while the other side shows the silhouette of Princess Aurora. Clasped with a magnet closure, the inside of the locket reveals a round well of cream rouge. Once the product has been completely used, this necklace can be worn as a locket and the rouge can easily be replaced by a small photo of someone dear to your heart. The cream rouge is Besame's signature formula of concentrated color, and comes in a natural rosy pink shade that compliments any skin tone. Our non-greasy, lightweight-but-lasting cream rouge formula is easier to blend than many powder blushes, and gives a soft, velvety finish. Can be applied easily with the fingertips or your favorite makeup sponge. This highly-pigmented rouge is versatile- it can be used not only for a fresh, sheer, healthy-looking lift on the cheeks, but also can be worn on the lips for a matching lightweight glow, while keeping lips moisturized just in case you're waiting for true love's kiss! The quality heavy weight locket is gorgeous, the rouge is creamy and the image of Aurora on the back is just as beautiful as the Walt Disney Animation. A piece of art in and of itself. And with every collection, the Besame Bugle is a delight to read. Telling of the film's history and the special process Gabriela takes in collaborating with Disney. Fun facts and an explanation of the collection in detail are included. The fun photo prop of Aurora's 16th birthday cake is on display in the lobby of the Besame Boutique. Here you can decide on frosting colors and whether to: Make it blue! Make it pink!
With so much frosting, the cake is beginning to lean a bit and there was a broom to help keep it from falling. So thrilled that @BesameBoutiques acknowledged my photo on instagram. 2017 Besame Cosmetics launched a LE Agent Carter collection. I did not buy any at that time, but have since been on the hunt for anything from this collection. While I was in L.A., I visited the Besame headquarters and boutique in Burbank. As previously mentioned the Agent Carter collection is no longer available, but I did take several photos of the beautiful boutique and the current 60th Anniversary Sleeping Beauty collection. When you walk inside, you're transported to another place and time. The walls are lined with open cabinetry and enclosed glass shelving that house vintage makeup displays. The 60th Anniversary Sleeping Beauty collection is front and center, housed in a clear display cube. Lipstick staples and customer favorites are stocked inside the open shelves. Behind the enclosed vintage displays, are amazing bullet tubes of lipstick, vintage vanity mirror sets and pallets of rouge. The previous Disney x Besame collab Mermaid Lagoon was still on display. Very few items are available of this adorable collection. The Mickey Mouse lipstick duo was on sale $30! In the back room is a photo backdrop and three make up vanity stations for when Besame holds their makeup classes. The Sleeping Beauty Royal Vanity mirror $58 is rose gold and decorated with filigree. Gorgeous!!
And of course, I got my chance to play Sleeping Beauty lying on her Royal couch, clutching the vanity mirror. I love the Disney Store! Look at all of the awesome Nightmare Before Christmas items they have. And several costumes for kids.
