Dapper Day is an organization that celebrates refined style from yesterday and today by organizing outings and social events with various locations including museums, concert halls, Disney parks, and other venues, where participants are encouraged to "step out in style." Disney's Dapper Day is typically held twice a year, in the spring and in the fall. This year's spring event was cancelled due to the pandemic.
This spring, Dapper Day decided to hold it's first ever "Dapper Day at home" event for participants to enjoy via social media. Hashtag # dapperdayathome
Cheshire cat and I took our camera and to social media to participate. This was my planned vacation week and would have been my first Dapper Day event at Disneyland, so as you can imagine, I was sad that I would have to postpone my trip.
In hopes social guidelines will re-open soon, the Dapper Day Expo has scheduled a summer outing at Disneyland on Fathers' Day, Sunday, June 21. I will not be able to attend this event, but plan to participate via social media.
Growing up in Los Angeles in the 70s/80s we visited Disneyland on a regular basis and often after school, before "Annual Passes".
