On my trip to Nashville, I knew that I had to go to see the Johnny Cash Museum. I took TONS of photos, here are only a few of what I took during the 2-hour tour.
There were stage and TV costumes, including those of June Carter Cash, and Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix from the 2005 film Walk the Line.
Instruments, awards, record collections and many items from the family home were on display. They had interactive stations to watch and listen to live performances.
These cowboy boots! JR wrote many letters to the head of his fan club, personally thanking them for their support. He would send over some of his personal stage costumes as gifts to show his appreciation!
Drum kit from television performances.
I love this life size mural. I recommend this museum for music fans. Johnny Cash is a LEGEND! Don't miss this exhibit. We bought some souvenirs from the gift shop, you'll find t-shirts, photos, music, key chains, postcards and more.
Growing up in Los Angeles in the 70s/80s we visited Disneyland on a regular basis and often after school, before "Annual Passes".
