The Plaza Inn is my family's favorite Disneyland restaurant. Famous for it's broasted chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes we always eat at the Plaza Inn. On July 17, 2020 the Plaza Inn will celebrate its 55th anniversary. Formerly known as the “Red Wagon Inn” in 1955, it later became the Plaza Inn in 1965. Walt Disney would close down the restaurant to invite special guests to dine with him and Lillian. The Victorian decor includes a stained-glass Tiffany styled ceiling and both the marble foyer and gingerbread woodwork came from an actual Victorian home. You can also make reservations for the Minnie and Friends character breakfast. Dine with Minnie and take photos with several other featured characters including Daisy Duck, Chip and Dale, Fairy Godmother and the White Rabbit. *please note characters can change from season to season so call ahead to find out which characters will be at your breakfast. See our character brunch experience at Goofy's Kitchen. Free drink refills! Other menu favorites include penne pasta with marinara and pot roast. They also have delicious desserts.
