My Dad has been going to Disneyland since 1965. He still has his collection of Disney tickets from the original coupon book.
It's interesting to see just what particular rides were allowed with each coupon level.
Later, after I was born, Dad influenced his love of Disney on me. We went typically three times a year and stayed at the Disneyland hotel. We lived in Los Angeles only 30 minutes away, but that didn't stop us from staying at the hotel.
These are just a few of the MANY photos from my Disney childhood. I will always CHERISH these memories.
I just picked up a copy of LIFE Magazine Special Edition - Inside the Disney Parks. It's 96-pages and covers the history of Walt's dream and how he created both Disney PArks in CA and FL.
One of my favorite photos of Walt.
Pick yours up now. It's available until June 30.
I buy Princess calendars from the Dollar Store at the beginning of the year, They are great to use for so many art projects. This time I have a few frames that need filled. What better way to use them than with Disney Princess art?
The VIDEO shows you how to size and position Disney Princess art for frames.
Every one, every where is celebrating Mickey's 90th birthday! At Target just last Sunday, they rolled out several Mickey inspired items. These are all by Junk Food.
Several companies are participating in honoring the Disney icon. Ziplock, Kleenex, and L'Oreal Paris has a collection of cosmetics out - just to name a few.
Growing up in Los Angeles in the 70s/80s we visited Disneyland on a regular basis and often after school, before "Annual Passes".
