Introducing Alison a.k.a. @princess.sweet.pea My first class play was about 7 years ago, Tohru Honda from fruits basket, but I've been more consistent over the past two years. The challenge of Cosplay is the price since I don't know how to sew my own costumes or make my own wigs. I always try to buy costumes that I know I will wear more than once or things that I will wear outside of Cosplay. Best Con experience? I can't really choose a best con experience, but I really enjoyed Saboten con 2019. My next cosplan is Snow White. What do family and friends think of your cosplay? My parents probably think it's a little weird, but most of my friends are cosplayers so they are supportive. I have plans to cosplay with some of them in a couple of months for the Saboten Con. Where can people follow you?
Tik Tok and Instagram: @princess.sweet.pea Introducing Erica a.k.a. @geekchic51 I have been cosplaying since 2016, but always loved Halloween and dressing up. My first cosplay was Black Widow. My work related cosplay was Dana Scully from X-Files. Dressing up at work for Halloween was frowned upon, but after a year or two of doing characters in business suits the company started to relax the dress code on that day. The challenges of Cosplay are my age versus the characters I choose to cosplay. I'm 49 years old so it's a consistent struggle against the ravages of time. I strive to be as accurate as I can with funds, ability to create and time, but I'll never be able to pull off looking like a twenty-year-old again. Best con experience? I am extremely shy and an introvert so my best con experiences include people actually talking to me. I've met some fun and amazing people at Cons and feeling like I actually belong makes for the best experience. I'm signed up to attend Awesome Con and Rhode Island Comic Con. What do friends and family say about you cosplaying? Most people I know are very supportive of my cosplay even if they don't understand it. My mother is always having me show her friends pictures of me dressed up as Wonder Woman. Where can people find you?
