The brand was introduced in 1940 and is the cooperative's oldest brand. Donald Duck, one of Walt Disney's cartoon and comic book characters, is the mascot for the brand. He appears on the packaging and marketing, and in its advertising. For many years Donald Duck also appeared on the juice plant's water storage tank in Lake Wales, until 1998, when the cooperative decided to remove the Donald Duck logo as part of its name change and rebranding. I grabbed these bottle juices from the Dollar Tree! I couldn't pass them up, Donald is a classic, and one of my dad's favorite Disney characters. My daughter was watching the Halloween cartoon Trick or Treat with Donald and Huey, Dewey and Louie. She said it was so wholesome. She loved it. Written by author and editor Elmer T. Peterson... the article was titled "At Home with Walt Disney" and is referenced on the cover as "The Home and Garden of Walt Disney. "Features the iconic images of the Disney home (designed in 1932) where Walt, Lilly, Diane and Sharon lived until their 1950 move to their Holmby Hills property at 355 N. Carolwood Drive. Remarkably... the Loz Feliz home retains much of the cham that it had even when these photos were captured for Better Homes & Gardens. In July 1958, the employees of Knott's Berry Farm began a fundraising campaign to create a stained glass altar window for the Church of Reflections. Moved to Knott's from the City of Downey by Walter Knott and placed beside Reflection Lake in 1955, the 1876 church had been host to Lutheran and non-denominational public services and weddings, but lacked an appropriate alter window. Knott's employees raised $700 to order a custom, stained glass portrait of Jesus Christ from a local studio and dedicated that window to Walter and Cordelia Knott in a ceremony the following November. Representing Knott's employees, Alta Squires said, "This is not a gift, but an expression of love from all the folks who work here at Knott's Berry Farm."
