In 1866, Professor Pierre M. Aronnax (Paul Lukas) and his assistant Conseil (Peter Lorre), stranded in San Francisco by reports of a giant sea monster attacking ships in the Pacific Ocean, are invited to join an expedition to search for the creature. During the search, they and harpooner Ned Land (Kirk Douglas) are thrown overboard during an attack, eventually discovering that the supposed monster is actually a submarine piloted by the brilliant but haunted Captain Nemo (James Mason). Release date: January 1, 1954 Marlin (Albert Brooks), a clown fish, is overly cautious with his son, Nemo (Alexander Gould), who has a foreshortened fin. When Nemo swims too close to the surface to prove himself, he is caught by a diver, and horrified Marlin must set out to find him. A blue reef fish named Dory (Ellen DeGeneres) -- who has a really short memory -- joins Marlin and complicates the encounters with sharks, jellyfish, and a host of ocean dangers. Meanwhile, Nemo plots his escape from a dentist's fish tank. When the Submarine Voyage (now reimagined as Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage) first opened in 1959, live mermaids made a splash in the lagoon.
Tomorrowland is one of my favorite lands. It's home of Space Mountain, my absolute favorite ride EVER! There's Autopia, Nemo's Subs, Monorail and Star Tours. I miss the Peoplemover and the Skyway, both are my dad's favorite vintage Disney rides. This underground stage has been around since the 60s. Live bands have played here for decades. When I was younger, it was the Coca Cola stage. Toy Story made Pizza Planet a household name! Honestly, I've never eaten here. Space Mountain overlay Ghost Galaxy is my FAVORITE! Definitely the Happiest Place on Earth!
